Hardware Reset Reference

Verizon Fios Fios Extender (E3200) Reset Location

Locate the dedicated physical Reset pinhole or recessed button shown in the diagram. Use a paperclip or SIM eject tool to press and hold according to the steps below.

Reset Button / Pinhole LED Blink Confirmation

Soft Reset (Power Cycle)

Unplug the power from the extender for 15 seconds, then plug it back in.

Factory Reset

Press and hold the recessed Reset button for 10 seconds. The LED will blink to indicate the reset has begun. Wait 2 minutes for a full reboot.

Warning: Factory resetting your E3200 will erase all mesh pairing data. Always try power cycling (unplugging for 15 seconds) first. If a reset is necessary, you will have to repeat the entire pairing process with the router.
