Important: Do not unplug the extender or router and do not close the browser while the firmware is uploading and installing.
Step 5: Wait for Reboot and Confirm Version
- Wait for the Netgear EX2800 to reboot; the Power LED will turn solid again when it is ready.
- Log back in and check the firmware version in the Status or Firmware page to confirm the update.
Step 6: Test WiFi After Update
- Test WiFi coverage and speed in the extended area to ensure stable performance.
- If issues appear after updating, perform a soft reset and verify extender placement and router WiFi configuration.
