- Search for EX3110 and open the Downloads section.
- Download the latest firmware ZIP file for EX3110 and save it.

Step 2: Connect to the Extender
- Ensure the EX3110 is powered on and stable.
- Connect your computer to the extender via WiFi (NETGEAR_EXT or extended SSID).
- Temporarily disable VPN or proxy software that might block access to the management page.

- Open a browser and go to http://mywifiext.net or the extender IP (such as 192.168.1.250).
- Log in with your admin username and password (default usually admin / password unless changed).
Step 4: Upload the Firmware File
- Navigate to the Firmware Update or Maintenance > Firmware Upgrade section of the dashboard.
- Click Browse or Choose File and select the firmware file you unzipped in Step 1.
- Click Upload or Update to start the firmware upgrade.
Important: Do not unplug the extender or router and do not close the browser while the firmware is uploading and installing.
Step 5: Wait for Reboot and Confirm Version
- Wait for the EX3110 to reboot; the Power LED will turn solid when it is ready.
- Log back into the dashboard and check the firmware version in the Status or Firmware page to confirm the update.
Step 6: Test WiFi After Update
- Test WiFi coverage and speed in the extended areas to ensure performance is stable.
- If any issues appear after updating, perform a soft reset and verify the extender’s placement and router WiFi configuration.
